What LeakProof does
What problem does LeakProof solve?
Small construction businesses pay for software, services and contracts that quietly renew whether or not anyone still needs them. LeakProof keeps every recurring commitment in one ledger — vendor, cost, owner, usage, renewal date and notice deadline — so nothing renews unnoticed.
Does LeakProof cancel vendors for me?
No. LeakProof never cancels, negotiates, or contacts a vendor on your behalf. It shows you what to review, links to a vendor’s official cancellation instructions when a verified destination exists, and lets you record the cancellation steps you completed yourself.
Does it connect to my bank or accounting software?
No. There is no bank connection, no card linking and no accounting import. You enter records manually, which keeps the product free of financial-account credentials.
Are the savings figures guaranteed?
No. Audit findings are review candidates, not confirmed savings. Realized savings only appear when you record a confirmation date and supporting evidence yourself.
Plans and billing
What do the plans cost?
Basic is $29/month and Professional is $99/month, both billed monthly through Stripe and renewed automatically until you stop future renewals. Managed support is $299–$499/month, agreed by inquiry rather than online checkout.
What is the difference between Basic and Professional?
Both include the vendor ledger, ownership and usage tracking, renewal and notice dates, and upcoming price increases. Professional adds the spend audit, downloadable savings reports, and the automated renewal email reminders.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. In Plans & billing, choose the other tier and complete checkout. The new subscription replaces your current one only after the new payment is verified, so you are not billed twice. Existing paid memberships keep the price and access they signed up for; nothing is repriced automatically.
How do I stop future renewals?
Use Stop future renewals in Plans & billing. Your paid period continues to its end date and access is not cut off immediately. You can reopen the page any time to see the exact end date Stripe reports.
Is there a free trial?
No. There is no trial and no introductory discount. The price shown at checkout is the price charged today and each month until you stop renewals.
Renewal email reminders
When are reminders sent?
On each renewal’s due day: 30, 14, 7 and 3 days before the renewal date, and again on the renewal day itself. A daily automated dispatch performs the work — you do not need to open the app.
What if a scheduled run is missed?
The next run catches up reminders that became due within the previous two days. Each vendor, stage and renewal cycle is sent at most once, so a catch-up never duplicates a reminder.
Does Resend accepting a message prove it was delivered?
No. A provider accepting a message confirms the hand-off, not delivery to your inbox. Check your spam folder, and keep your mail provider’s filtering in mind.
Which plan includes email reminders?
Renewal email reminders are a Professional feature. Basic accounts do not send them.
Do you send SMS or push notifications?
No. Renewal reminders are email only. There are no SMS messages and no push notifications.
Your records and data
Who can see the vendors I record?
Only your signed-in account. Vendor records are private to you; there is no team sharing, no public directory, and no cross-account reporting.
Do I have to enter confidential details?
No. Record a vendor name, cost, cadence and renewal date. Do not enter passwords, card numbers or banking credentials — LeakProof never asks for them.
What happens to my records if I stop paying?
Records stay viewable. Editing vendors and receiving reminders require an active plan, so a lapsed membership limits what you can change rather than deleting your history.
